SLEEPYCAT CREATIVE STORYBOARD 05

A Better Night Makes Room for a Better Day

Status: READY FOR VISUAL STORYBOARDING; keep the day-outcome framing non-causal

Project: Eternity independent portfolio concept; not commissioned, endorsed or executed by SleepyCat.

Important: This is a proposed creative storyboard/production brief, not a completed ad, not actual footage and not a result from a live campaign.

Creative brief

Creative role
Everyday-life aspiration
Creative territory
Everyday life — aspirational companion to Concept 02
Format
9:16 vertical creator/lifestyle Reel · 32 seconds · 7 frames
Primary customer question
What would you make room for tomorrow?
Working insight
A small personal ritual can make the value of everyday life more concrete than a broad montage of work, relationships, exercise and productivity. This is a creative hypothesis, not evidence that SleepyCat causes better performance, mood or relationships. The treatment is a positive counterpart to Concept 02; it is not a fifth distinct territory.

What would you make room for?

Introduce one clear aspirational idea without promising a transformed life.

Dialogue / VO“What would you make room for tomorrow?”
On-screen copyWHAT WOULD YOU MAKE ROOM FOR?

Camera and action

Visual direction
Morning light falls across an unfinished sketchbook and pencils on a small table. The creator notices it while getting ready for the day. Do not show a perfect, luxurious morning.
Camera / composition
Close-up of the sketchbook, then creator’s hand pulling out a chair.
Talent / performance
Quiet curiosity, understated.

Editing and sound

Start with natural room sound and one clean title.

Production notes

Brand / product integration
No product yet; make the human idea the entry point.
Assets / production requirements
Sketchbook, pencils, small real home workspace, morning light.

Production dependency: real home workspace, sketchbook and performer are not yet sourced. The still is an AI-generated reference, not footage.

A woman in a cream knit cardigan sketching in a spiral sketchbook at a sunlit wooden desk beside a window, with plants, a mug and a pencil jar.

A LITTLE TIME FOR YOURSELF.

AI-generated illustrative scene reference — not official SleepyCat product photography or customer footage. Overlay labels are editable HTML/CSS.
Frame 023–8 sec

Choose one valued moment

Make the aspiration specific instead of listing work, relationships, fitness and hobbies.

Dialogue / VO“Maybe it’s a little time for something that’s yours.”
On-screen copyA LITTLE TIME FOR YOURSELF.

Camera and action

Visual direction
The creator sits at the table, opens the same sketchbook and lays out two pencils. This is one continuous activity—the hobby is drawing.
Camera / composition
Medium shot followed by hand and pencil close-up.
Talent / performance
Unperformed concentration.

Editing and sound

One calm cut on the book opening; no productivity montage.

Production notes

Brand / product integration
No product claim.
Assets / production requirements
Same desk/table and sketchbook for continuity.

Illustrative reenactment, not a testimonial. Confirm the sketchbook type matches Frame 01 before filming (see Review notes).

MAKE SPACE FOR WHAT MATTERS TO YOU.

AI-generated illustrative scene reference — not official SleepyCat product photography or customer footage. The drawing is original illustrative artwork. Overlay labels are editable HTML/CSS.
Frame 038–13 sec

Give the moment space

Let the viewer feel the aspiration without implying the mattress produced it.

Dialogue / VO“Not a perfect morning. Just a moment you meant to make time for.”
On-screen copyMAKE SPACE FOR WHAT MATTERS TO YOU.

Camera and action

Visual direction
The creator starts a small sketch. Show pencil marks, page texture and a quiet, imperfect moment. Do not imply that the drawing is a dramatic achievement.
Camera / composition
Over-shoulder detail and one profile shot.
Talent / performance
Relaxed; not a testimonial.

Editing and sound

Let the natural pencil sound sit briefly under the music.

Production notes

Brand / product integration
Still no product close-up; this is a broader life aspiration.
Assets / production requirements
Sketchbook and drawing supplies; do not use recognizable copyrighted artwork.

Production dependency: the sketch must be original artwork made for the shoot, not copied from an existing artist.

A smiling woman in a cream knit cardigan rests her cheek on her hand while sketching botanical leaves in an open sketchbook, in warm window light with a bed visible behind her.

A MOMENT THAT’S YOURS.

AI-generated illustrative scene reference — not official SleepyCat product photography or customer footage. Overlay labels are editable HTML/CSS.
Frame 0413–18 sec

Keep the aspiration ordinary

Avoid a before/after life-transformation promise.

Dialogue / VO“The little things are still worth making room for.”
On-screen copyA MOMENT THAT’S YOURS.

Camera and action

Visual direction
The creator adds one more line to the drawing, pauses to look at it, then closes the book before beginning the rest of the day. The value is the small moment, not a miraculous result.
Camera / composition
Slow push-in to the drawing, then medium shot.
Talent / performance
Small, natural satisfaction; no exaggerated grin.

Editing and sound

No “before/after” split screen or time-lapse implying transformation.

Production notes

Brand / product integration
No causal SleepyCat promise.
Assets / production requirements
Same room, actor and sketchbook.

Illustrative reenactment, not a testimonial and not proof of causation.

Evening bedroom lit by a bedside lamp: a woman in a cream sweater sits on the bed and closes a spiral sketchbook on the nightstand, with city lights through the window.

SLEEP IS PART OF YOUR EVERYDAY SETUP.

AI-generated illustrative scene reference — not official SleepyCat product photography or customer footage. Overlay labels are editable HTML/CSS.
Frame 0518–23 sec

Bring the story back to sleep

Connect the aspiration with sleep as one part of the everyday setup without making a guaranteed outcome claim.

Dialogue / VO“Sleep is one part of the setup for tomorrow.”
On-screen copySLEEP IS PART OF YOUR EVERYDAY SETUP.

Camera and action

Visual direction
Evening scene in the same home: creator puts the sketchbook away, dims the room and settles the bedroom for sleep. A real SleepyCat mattress is shown as part of the room, not as a magic solution.
Camera / composition
Match cut from sketchbook closing to bedside light switching off; then a calm bed detail.
Talent / performance
Unhurried and real.

Editing and sound

Warm evening light, gentle sound transition.

Production notes

Brand / product integration
Show real SleepyCat mattress only if confirmed. No claim that it guarantees more time, energy or creativity.
Assets / production requirements
Consistent bedroom, bedside lamp, actual SleepyCat product.

Production dependency: no verified SleepyCat mattress appears in this still. Shoot with the actual product only if confirmed. Do not imply the mattress caused creativity or productivity.

EXPLORE THE MATTRESS RANGE

Concept UI recreation based on public-page wording checked 16 October 2026 — not a literal screenshot. Overlay label is editable HTML/CSS.
Frame 0623–28 sec

Make product exploration practical

Move from aspiration to a useful product-selection next step without repeating Concept 01’s quiz funnel.

Dialogue / VO“When you’re choosing a mattress, compare the details and what matters for your sleep.”
On-screen copyEXPLORE THE MATTRESS RANGE

Camera and action

Visual direction
Show the current official mattress collection and one clean product browse moment. Do not show a quiz interface.
Camera / composition
Phone screen or screenshot, held long enough to read the page label.
Talent / performance
Voice-over only.

Editing and sound

One quick, legible UI handoff.

Production notes

Brand / product integration
Current mattress collection route. Product-specific claims need a current page check.
Assets / production requirements
Use 06_Mattress_Collection_UI_Recreation.png in this concept storyboard. A live ad should capture the current collection at https://sleepycat.in/collections/mattresses.

Production dependency: replace this concept UI recreation with a live capture of the current collection page, and recheck all product names and descriptors.

On-screen copyEXPLORE MATTRESSES →

Camera and action

Visual direction
Simple mattress collection end card with the question returning as a small line above the CTA. The calm bedroom still serves as the end-card background.
Camera / composition
Static end card; keep text inside mobile safe areas.
Talent / performance
No testimonial.

Editing and sound

One CTA, no Sleep Quiz button.

Production notes

Brand / product integration
Approved SleepyCat wordmark and current collection URL.
Assets / production requirements
Current collection screenshot and approved brand lock-up.

Production dependency: the “SleepyCat” text is a wordmark placeholder; supply the approved lock-up. Verify the destination URL is live at handoff.

Creative rationale

A small personal ritual can make the value of everyday life more concrete than a broad montage of work, relationships, exercise and productivity. This is a creative hypothesis, not evidence that SleepyCat causes better performance, mood or relationships. One activity—drawing—carries the whole film, and sleep enters only in Frame 05 as one part of an everyday setup. The treatment is a positive counterpart to Concept 02.

CTA and destination

Evidence status and pre-production gates

Claim, safety and representation guardrails

Potential testing and measurement notes

Potential future hook test — proposed only. Test “What would you make room for tomorrow?” against “What’s the thing you keep meaning to make time for?” Keep the sketchbook footage, body narration, product section, audience, offer, CTA and collection destination the same. Treat the outcome as a hook comparison only. Judge purchases, revenue and CPA first; use hold rate, CTR, product visits, add-to-cart and checkout starts to understand the response. Do not claim improved wellbeing or performance based on engagement. No campaign has run.

Across any later campaign, purchases, revenue and cost per purchase should guide the commercial decision. CTR, CPC, video retention, Recommender starts/completions, product visits, add-to-cart and checkout activity can help explain behaviour but are not substitutes for the business outcome. Agree event tracking, comparison window, budget exposure and the definition of an inconclusive result before launch.

Review notes

READY FOR VISUAL STORYBOARDING; keep the day-outcome framing non-causal

The visual storyboard may be laid out from this brief. A visually complete page is not proof that the evidence gates have been satisfied.
